Mobilization of HR- and Approval Processes at the Vaillant Group

Vaillant Group Mobile Group Net has been live since mid June – a version of the Vaillant Group Intranet optimized for smartphones and tablets. BTEXX (Mainz) designed and implemented the mobile solution. And the response at the Vaillant Group has been overwhelming and very positive.

The Group HR, Group Communications and Group IT departments initiated the mobile project with the aim of supporting employees in their administrative activities and making these even more flexible and efficient.

The Vaillant Group Intranet was rolled out globally in stages over the past few years as a central employee portal for information, processes and applications. The new Mobile Group Net now enables seamless, user-friendly access to all relevant business information, applications and workflows – anytime, anywhere.

The Vaillant Group Mobile Group Net has an SAPUI5 and SAP Gateway architecture and was implemented using “BTEXX mobilePortal”, which is based on SAP standards and ready to run to enable mobile access to content and SAP-based business processes.

For instance, the Mobile Group Net offers the ability to create and approve invoices or vacation requests easily and conveniently from a smartphone or tablet PC. Contacts, team calendars, the latest Corporate News and content pages of the Vaillant Group Intranet are available at all times. It even has an integrated mobile search.

The Vaillant Group is already seeing the first signs of success: Wait times in workflows are getting shorter, submitting applications easier, all employees have access to the intranet – and the solution is simple and intuitive.
