A wide range of new topics and technologies such as SAP UI5, SAP Fiori and SAP HANA fueled discussion at the 15th DSAG Annual Congress, which took place in Leipzig from October 14 to 16, 2014. As an exhibitor, BTEXX was able to optimally position its broad spectrum of software and consulting products and services here. Moreover, the company hosted a unique event at its stand, adding a splash of color to the trade fair.
SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, SAP HANA and Cloud, SAP Portal vs. Sharepoint – this year’s DSAG Congress covered a wide range of topics. These new technologies have sparked a great deal of interest but they also present a challenge to potential customers and users.
“There is a bit of uncertainty in the air. Some may be thinking: "What will these innovations bring to my business? Is this yet another fad or is it truly a sustainably innovative path that we should seriously consider taking?" The market will need to reorient and realign itself. During the coming months, our customers will require comprehensive support, specifically in the areas of interface technology and general IT strategy,” says Björn Adam, Head of Business Unit Intranet, BTEXX GmbH.
Business process mobilization was yet another key focus in Leipzig. Many customers have placed this item at the top of their agendas for 2015, at least in the context of sales workflows and service, but in many cases in HR as well. A crucial issue here is how to effectively bring interfaces and processes to the affected employees via mobile devices. BTEXX’s mobilePortal 2.0 offers a cutting-edge solution to these challenges and more despite being very easy to implement.
There was also a noticeable rise in interest in customer and service portals. The objective is not only to boost efficiency in processing customer orders but, above all, to increase loyalty among customers by targeting them directly with the right digital tools and corresponding services.
Conclusion: The range of topics and questions is becoming increasingly diverse – all the more reason to take advantage of expert creation, process and technology consulting.
This was the theme behind the event at the BTEXX stand, which showcased the work of body painting artist Christine Dumbsky. The show not only attracted a lot of attention, it also tied in perfectly with the BTEXX brand slogan “CREATING PORTAL EXPERIENCES”.
“The overall mood at the DSAG Annual Congress was very positive, in my opinion. Customers are ready to face new challenges: more user experience, more mobility, more customer service. We are happy to offer them our support as a one-stop consulting solutions provider,” says BTEXX GmbH CEO Stefan Bohlmann.
